What is the medical dispute mediation fee for each amount?

₩22,000 up to ₩5 million, ₩32,000 for ₩10 million, ₩112,000 for ₩50 million, ₩162,000 for ₩100 million and ₩362,000 for ₩300 million.

Who sets the medical dispute mediation fee?

The agency. Article 50 of the act lets it charge fees, and Article 30 of the decree leaves the amounts to the agency’s president with a board resolution.

The decree says the amounts are set with court litigation costs in mind. Because the table sits in the agency’s rules, it can change without an amendment to the decree; check the fee page before applying.

Can the medical dispute mediation fee be reduced?

Yes. The fee is reduced by 50% for a severe disability and 30% for a non-severe disability.

Basic livelihood recipients and registered national-merit persons and their families are exempt. War veterans are exempt for themselves only, according to the fee page.

Is the medical dispute mediation fee refunded?

In full if the application is dismissed, for example because the respondent did not take part; half if you withdraw.
